Return those materials!

As the end of the academic year approaches, we’d like to remind you that May 15 is the due date for all materials checked out by students that regularly have a 21-day checkout period. This includes books from the main and juvenile collections, juvenile magazines, curriculum materials, kits, CDs, cassettes, and juvenile videos. All other materials with shorter loan periods continue to be due as per their standard checkout times.

Graduating students with overdue items should have received a letter alerting them that they have items due. Please come to the Library as soon as possible to return these items or to pay for lost items. You have until May 31 to clear your record; at that time, the Library will alert the Registrar’s office which graduating students have overdue or lost items on their record, and the Registrar will put a hold on their transcripts until the matter is resolved.

If you have any questions, please call the Circulation Desk at (617) 879-2220.

Although students have been able to use various NoodleTools feature such as NoodleBib Express for free, we’re now offering the full range of NoodleTool capabilities through May 18th.

NoodleTools is a bibliography composer and can be used for help in the formatting of either APA or MLA citations (sorry, no support for Chicago style). Just create a folder and you’ll be able to save your created citations.

You can access it here or from the library’s Citation Help Guides page.
