Database trials

Alexander Street Press is offering free trails of several databases for Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Latino History Month.

Black History Month (available to the Wheelock community through February 28):

  • Black Drama: features approximately 1200 plays by 201 playwrights and includes information on productions and theaters.
  • Black Women Writers: contains fiction, nonfiction and poetry by women from North America, Africa and the Caribbean; present essays by scholars and feminists about the history of feminism and genre studies in these regions.

Latino History Month databases will be available March 15 through April 30 and will include access to Latino Literature and Latin American Women Writers.
