Wheelock faculty featured in special issue of Theory Into Practice
Stephanie Cox Suarez, Wheelock College Associate Professor and Chair of the Special Education Department, is a guest editor of the current issue of the journal Theory Into Practice. The special issue, titled “Observation, Documentation, and Reflection to Create a Culture of Inquiry,” focuses on how the use of documentation transforms teaching and learning across educational contexts.
In addition to co-editoring the issue with Lisa Fiore of Lesley University, Stephanie also authored one of the issue’s articles, “Show Me Again What I Can Do: Documentation and Self-Determination for Students with Social Challenges.”
The work of Wheelock Associate Professor Bobbi Rosenquest appears in the issue as well. She is the co-author of “Shifting the Culture of Higher Education: Influences on Students, Teachers, and Pedagogy.”
The issue is available online through the Library’s subscription. To access it from off-campus, use your Wheelock email ID and password to log in. Print issues may be ordered from the publisher’s website for $25.
Congratulations to Stephanie and Bobbi for their work!
